Job Summary:

About the Role & Program:

This role is part of the Global Human Resource Operations (GHRO) Organizational Management Team. Organizational Management is responsible for governing the organizational architecture and infrastructure for The Walt Disney Company’s headcount administration and employee statuses.

This position is responsible for providing a broad range of operational and project support for the HR system of record, Workday, and related downstream systems using data from Workday. We are looking for someone who is excited to manage the core structure, client engagement, data validation, testing, troubleshooting, training, and other project and integration related assignments!

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2025-June 2025.

What You Will Do:

As an Organizational Management Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Support project activities, change management, reporting, and data deliverables

  • Ensure process and integration in Enterprise HR systems is in alignment with strategic HR initiatives and analytical reporting requirements

  • Perform testing of Workday and SAP business processes

  • Perform regular audits of data from multiple systems and troubleshoot issues

  • Provide quality services and manage effective client and partner relationships

  • Assist with the development of communications to team members & end users

  • Work with subject matter experts to create a wide array of documentation on technical processes which could include process maps, how-to guides, videos, and other forms of media.

  • Assist with development of training and other tools for implementation of approved recommendations; support training and change management

  • Intermediate Excel skills - Proficiency with v-lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, concatenating and text to data functions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow and/or SAP

  • Prior experience with testing system improvements and/or developing future state recommendations; Prior experience delivering end user training

  • Previous experience writing documentation in various styles and formats, including Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and videos

  • Recent experience crafting pages in Confluence and/or Teams and working in Smartsheets

Education:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Major or previous coursework in Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Project Management, Training and Development, Business, Communications, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Math or other related field

  • Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year preferred, or a recent graduate within 6 months of graduation date

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization 

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program 

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025-June 2025.

  • This internship is located in the Orlando, FL area.

  • Candidate must be fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.

  • This internship is a primarily on-site position which will require a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.

  • Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area
