Position Purpose: Oversees video production process from concept development to post-production ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required creative standards, by managing pre-production planning, coordinating on-set operations, and reviewing final video content while staying updated on industry technologies and trends
- Determine video production needs and align with strategic messaging objectives. Advise on suggested production approach and best practices
- Suggest how to utilize existing and forthcoming video assets
- Identify interview and b-roll opportunities and determine where pre-existing elements can be incorporated
- Schedule video shoots, coordinating with talent, in-house resources and/or external vendors
- Set up shoots—collaborating with in-house resources and/or external vendors
- Direct shoots and/or lead interviews
- Edit content cuts in Adobe Premiere, and gather visual elements for post-production team. If necessary, provide finishing work on video projects
- Collaborate with video editor and/or motion graphics artist through all phases of post-production
- Media manage raw footage/elements, archive finished videos, distribute assets to production partners and archive signed waivers
- Gather assets for B-Roll Archives (DAM), uploading footage and updating log/keywords
- Identify video vendors to partner with
- Review project outlines/proposals and video cuts and provide feedback
- Support corporate communications strategy by suggesting stories/topics to cover
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Bachelor's Degree Communications, Journalism, Creative Services, related field or equivalent experience required: 4+ years video production/storytelling experience required
Experience with video and audio recording, and editing platforms including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Media Encoder required
Experience in health care industry preferredPay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year
