Media Supervisor Summary
As a Media Supervisor, you’ll be directly implementing client strategies. This role combines several dynamic tasks, from developing staff to managing budgets and deadlines and ensuring overall client satisfaction. The Media Supervisor is a go-to contact for clients, maintaining a strong relationship with them, guiding clients toward success with strategic and tactical moves.

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage media strategy and planning with heavy collaboration across digital, search, social, programmatic and analytics, interpreting data and developing actionable insights. Advanced knowledge in search and social is needed for this role.
  • Build, refine and present plan recommendations that deliver on the client’s business goals and objectives.
  • Own tactical plan development, recommendation building, and negotiations across their respective channels.
  • Lead strategic-planning initiatives, including deck writing, budget and channel allocation, and audience development.
  • Collaborate and foster relationships with key partners, including clients, internal teams and leadership.
  • Oversee and train Associate Media Planner & Media Planner in support-level work they perform, help guide their overall growth and development and QA all work that has been produced prior to client delivery.
  • Proactively bring new ideas, opportunities and best practices to agency and client teams to educate, foster creativity and create new offerings.
  • Analyze data to inform optimizations and future channel allocation.
  • Oversee day-to-day campaign execution and be responsible for ensuring campaigns deliver on KPIs.
  • Support development of strategic approach and experience design by delivering channel ideas and providing the link to reality of historical performance and in-market opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of an existing and/or prospective client’s business.
  • Display a mastery of media fundamentals, including experience and interest across traditional and digital media.

Academic/Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Requirements
  • 4-5 years of media strategy & planning, buying and reporting experience
  • Advanced knowledge specifically within search and social media
  • Previous exposure to the media-planning process or media resources such as DCM, Innovid, comScore, Prisma/Media Ocean, eTelmar (MRI), Media Tools, MediaOcean OX Commspoint, MOAT, IAS
  • Proven ability to develop and implement media plans that achieve specific, measurable results
  • High comfort level with technology: PC proficiency and familiarity with Google Workplace, MS Office, Excel, Word, Tableau and PowerPoint
