Videographer and Editor

Located in beautiful Winston-Salem, NC, Twin City Media is a rapidly growing video production and marketing company looking to add an experienced video shooter /editor to...shoot and edit!

We work with a wide variety of clients from talking head to commercial to light-weight social media videos. If you are ready to unleash your creativity and be part of an amazing team making waves in the triad apply right now!

Note: though TCM has hired "learn as you go" positions in the past, that is not this project. You MUST have experience shooting and editing in order to be considered.

Where do you come in?

TCM has been experiencing a tremendous amount of growth and to keep up with our current demand (and expand into new sectors) we need to add to / build a new team. This position is ready to be filled and we are looking for the right person to hop in now!

This should be of interest to you if you are looking to be part of a company small enough for you to have a hand in multiple projects and be part of the creative process. If you are looking to grow your skills and be exposed to multiple genres of commercial video production, this job is for you.

This job is probably not the right fit if you expect to be prompted to be productive. While there is plenty of room to grow and plenty of opportunities for on-location learning, team members are expected to step up and be involved through all stages of the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Filming individually and as a crew for studio or on location filming.
• Editing projects individually and cooperatively at our shared co-working space.
• Crew work (gripping, audio, camera operation, set design, etc.)
• Creative direction and Preproduction (the real fun part)

Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity to expertise with Adobe Premiere / After Effects
• Experience with operation of a variety of camera systems (Sony, Canon, Black Magic, etc.)
• Detail oriented (in the editing process)
• Creative (in the filming process)
• Personable and able to generally get along with people including clients (we like to work with people we like)

• TCM's size is currently the owner and one part time marketing professional. So when you join the team it will be up to total of three people in size. When I say small and you will have your hands in EVERYTHING...that is exactly the case. For some people that is exciting! For other's that is a turn off. Up to you.
• This is an in person position. I like the energy of getting to see what we are working on and share feedback in person.
• TCM is really set to explode over the next 1 to 2 years and looking for the right person to be here for the long haul!
