BIG PICTURE:
The Junior Facilities Manager will oversee the day to day operations of our three production stages and office located in Burbank. You’ll manage a team of approximately six facilities staff members tasked with the general upkeep, maintenance and janitorial responsibilities of our office and stages. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, speak both English and Spanish, have advanced repair and maintenance skills and a strong managerial sense for delegating responsibilities.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
- Keep stock/inventory of janitorial and maintenance supplies, as well as tools and equipment, project materials, and logs of routine maintenance needs
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance teams, ensuring cleanliness of interior/exterior facilities, as well as offices, conference rooms, parking lots, common areas, all production sets and prop vehicles
- Conduct routine facility maintenance, address repairs as needed or requested
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and all requests are completed efficiently.
- Select, manage, and oversee relationships with external vendors/contractors/service providers, ensuring high quality work and compliance with budget and timelines
- Coordinate with Production & Operations Sr. Manager for proper space management and allocation
- Set up for company events, including technical equipment (i.e. All Hands)
- Coordinate and facilitate transportation runs
- Ensure the studios and facilities comply with local health, safety and environmental regulations, while promoting a safe and comfortable working environment for employees
- Work in person five days a week in the offices and studios of Burbank
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- A minimum of 3 years working in the Facilities Department at a sound stage and / or production studio
- An advanced skillset in facilities maintenance and repairs with technical savvy
- Bilingual preferred, both English and Spanish
- Strong managerial skills with the ability to delegate responsibilities, and manage a team and follow through
- Ability to meet deadlines and oversee multiple simultaneous projects
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure, but also know when to raise issues to senior management

This position reports directly to the Production / Operations Senior Manager

We believe in transparency and fairness when it comes to compensation. The salary for this position is $70k-85k a year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance and paid time off.
