XBOX Game Studios is looking for a Lead Game Producer to support game development teams and external partners. As Lead Game Producer, you have extensive expertise in project management, creative development, and team management to inspire and mentor others to do their best work. We're looking for a passionate, versatile, and driven Lead Game Producer, who enjoys leading and collaborating with others to create exceptional game experiences.

Core hours are based on Pacific Time but fully remote. Position may require occasional domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities


  • Partner with project stakeholders to direct teams through all stages of game development.
  • Build and maintain strong creative relationships with development team and partners.
  • Create and maintain strategic and tactical production plans.
  • Leverage tools, production methodology, and manage team rituals to ensure deliverables are highest quality, on budget, and on time.
  • Drive team awareness of deliverables through all phases of development and report status.
  • Facilitate collaborative and effective communication across the team.
  • Identify risks and drive the team towards successful resolution.
  • Leverage external production knowledge to explore opportunities with new partners.
  • Actively contribute to culture and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Contribute to recruiting, evangelism, and community engagement as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in production roles in gaming or entertainment industry, or other multi-disciplinary leadership
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in development and shipping of at least one product release.
  • 3+ years experience managing relationships with stakeholders, clients, and/or customers.
  • 4+ years experience as Lead Producer or Senior Producer in a AAA game development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience as a Producer in Game development, including experience with co-development, outsourcing, and asset management.
  • Leadership and Management experience.
  • Organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated experience running teams using both Microsoft Office Suite as well as project management software such as Jira and Shotgun.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and evolving processes to drive results of internal and external teams.
  • Knowledge across all aspects of production methodologies and phases of development.
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to collaboratively solve problems to achieve production plans.
  • Experience mentoring others on the impact of good production skills and game development practices.
  • Leading, motivating, and driving development teams to success.
  • Wrritten and verbal communication skills; providing clear and concise feedback to partners and internal team.

Game Producers IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
