As the Senior Manager, Distribution Marketing at Hong Kong Disneyland (“HKDL”), the incumbent will be responsible for development, implementation and execution of key sales distribution channel’s marketing strategies, cross-departmental communication/collaboration, and digital transformation. Deliver both sales ambitions and brand storytelling on these channels to drive business results.
Responsibilities:
Translate business strategy into communication and content strategy in key sales distribution channels, included but not limited to direct channels, online travel agents/platforms, Social Commerce platforms and local travel agents. Develop the required content for bring strategy to executions.
Contribute to integrated commercial plan for event and product launch and present to executive leaders
Give strategic recommendations and guidelines on allocation of channels’ investment and media efficiency
Understand and formulate shopper journey and insights. Collaborate and influence sales partners with best practices and marketing innovations
Formulate trade education, trade events and engagement, and sales tools to achieve the objectives.
Cover business segments included inbound tourist visitation and hotel stay, MICE business, corporate events, meetings, social catering, weddings and youth programs
Manage budget planning and be responsible for the achievement of core KPIs
Ensure product and content messaging in distribution channels are compliant to Disney standards
Lead and train the team, work closely with various departments, channels and related third-party agencies, and continuously improve the quality of go-to-market activations and marketing and consumer brand experience.
Develop and manage our vendor pool, who provide a wide range of services to the team, such as creative adaptation, photography/videography, printing, collaterals/premium design and production, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree holder in business or related discipline.
At least 10 years of working experience in digital marketing with creative and media knowledge. Agency background is a plus.
At least 5 years of international marketing experience (Mainland China, South East Asia, North Asia)
Experience in channel strategy, channel management, marketing, trade marketing in a sizable organization of leisure, hospitality, entertainment, FMCG, Business management consultancy would be preferred
Strong commercial market acumen and curiosity to learn and innovate
Strong media planning, media purchase and negotiations expertise
Excellent leadership, influencing power and collaboration skills in managing comprehensive projects
Clearly define the consumer journey and understand role brand and channel plays
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision and/or on a self-directed basis
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese in a highly organized, persuasive, and credible manner.
