Overview:Passionately strives to move the agency creative agenda forward. Works closely with Copywriter partner, when applicable, to develop ideas for all forms of communication. Must be a strong visual thinker and creative excellence is essential. Conceptual strategy and creative implementation should be at an award-winning level. Must have a dedication, persistence and passion for relevant, groundbreaking ideas. Must be proactive, collaborative, organized and an excellent communicator.

Day to Day:
- Develops and advocates for unique, award-winning-quality communications for the majority of assignments.
- Delivers ideas and work that exceed creative expectations and client business goals.
- Oversees and/or approves the production throughout the entire process of creative ideas for various applications including print, broadcast, online, radio and other relevant media. Assures a high agency standard is met or exceeded.
- Contributes to new business pitches, and makes client presentations
- Stays current with regard to client’s business, industry landscape and product strategy and information.
- Proactively stays abreast with the constantly evolving advertising, technology and social landscape. Actively engages in conversation and sharing and of ideas
- Conceptualizes, brainstorms, imagines, and develops creative ideas and executions for television, online, print, outdoor and any other applicable media opportunities.
- Prepares all comps and approved files for transfer to production or studio.
- Works with production to carry out multiple projects, and oversee the work of directors, photographers, digital artists, CGI studios, and illustrators.
Experience: Demonstrable experience in generating ideas at an award-winning level. Current knowledge of all relevant software is required. A broad understanding of the online landscape is critical, as is a practical knowledge of executing work in the space. Portfolio or reel must include work on a luxury brand or previous automotive experience and must be verifiable.
Education: College degree is preferred; however competency is evaluated based on body of work.
Skills and Abilities: Able to develop on-strategy and fresh conceptual ideas and design that surpass conventional advertising industry standards. Must have strong communication skills both with client presentations and internally with teammates. Must be able to adhere to strict deadlines and schedules. Ability to work directly with the client as well as other disciplines within the agency. Strong visual and design skills are required.
Collaborates with Others: Works directly with their Copywriter partner, other Creatives, Account Group, Strategic Planning, and Broadcast or Digital Producers.
Directing Others: Directs Art Studio, Project Managers, Producers, and Photographers.
Supervision Received: Supervised by Executive Creative Director(s) who will review their work on an ongoing basis. It is also expected that the Art Director determine and initiate non-scheduled input and dialog with Creative Director.
Pace of Work: Fast paced environment. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. It is also expected that the Art Director participate in determining and weighing their workload against the creative standards of the agency.
Scope: Every project is different and offers a new set of challenges. Position demands that new avenues are used to solve problems in an innovative way while at the same time remaining true to each client’s brand identity and each project’s strategic objective.
Impact: As in the case in any advertising agency, our creative output is our product. The impact of this position becomes an important one in that it facilitates the creative process. The impact of this position on the Lexus dealer business is also very great as materials must be accurate and delivered on time.
Working Conditions: Team One is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. All employees are expected to support Team One’s commitment to providing a respectful & safe workplace. There may be times when lifting up to 25lbs. is required. Overtime, including evenings and/ or weekend work- may be required. There may be occasion to travel. All employees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and acceptable manner during working hours and all work-related events, including but not limited to, holiday parties, off-sites, client meetings/events, shoot locations, etc.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
