About the Team
TikTok is seeking a strong operations leader to lead the global Project Management Office (PMO) for Global Brand & Communications, which includes teams across Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and Marketing. The PMO Lead will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing project management capabilities, implementing efficiency measures department-wide, and ensuring successful delivery of key projects across the organization. This role requires deep expertise in project management, cross-functional leadership, and a strong ability to align projects with business objectives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving landscape.

We're looking for a strong leader who is passionate about the TikTok brand. You have proven experience planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects. You're able to effectively manage through complex decisions and challenges, using sound judgement and expertise to mitigate risks and help ensure the best outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing PMO team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure project goals and objectives are clearly defined and aligned with the Global Brand & Communications team's broader strategic vision
  • Identify and drive the implementation of best practices for project management and operational excellence
  • Ensure consistency in project execution and reporting, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine project management and operations processes and enhance overall organizational performance
  • Oversee the successful delivery of key strategic projects and initiatives across teams
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting high quality standards
  • Promote cross-functional teamwork and ensure clear communication across project teams
  • Develop career progression plans and learning opportunities for PMO team members to enhance their skillsets
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team on project performance, status, and key milestones
  • Act as the central point of contact between business leaders, stakeholders, and project teams
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Deep experience in project/program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a global or tech-driven company
  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align projects with overall business strategy
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment, with a proactive and adaptable mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience leading a PMO or large-scale program management function in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Experience working within the technology, digital media, or social media industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $125400 - $297920 annually.



Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
