Position Summary
Supports SVP and VP with communication and calendar management, meeting preparation, travel logistics, and expense reporting. Regularly interacts with colleagues within the full marketing ream (Communications, Digital Marketing & Content and Strategic Partnerships), develops marketing presentation decks and materials and maintains pervue of broader marketing team activity.
This position will support key Digital Marketing and Content initiatives and projects as needed. This includes attending meetings, routing notes, drafting and reviewing copy, assembling emails, supporting media partnership efforts, real-time social media marketing efforts and general admin support.
This individual must be able to interact and communicate with a variety of individuals including CMA staff, Board Members and industry personnel. This position requires strong organizational, administrative, and computer skills. Experience in, or a working understanding of marketing is preferred.
Must also possess a high level of professionalism and confidentiality with the ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in dealing with matters of a sensitive or confidential nature.
This position is based in Nashville, TN and requires a minimum of 3 days of in-person work per week.

Essential Functions
- Manage SVP and VP schedules. Coordinate with colleagues when multiple schedules must be considered.
- Compile and submit expense reports on behalf of SVP and VP
- Coordinate travel for SVP and VP (air, ground & hotel); occasionally assist with travel arrangements for other Marketing team members
- Provide support for in-office meetings including but not limited to ordering meals, coordinating food delivery and setup,greeting guests, and taking notes
- Take board committee meeting minutes and assist with board reports as requested
- Create presentations for internal and external use in Canva and PowerPoint
- Support key digital marketing projects and initiatives with copy writing and reviewing, note taking, partnership management, email assembly, real-time social media marketing efforts and other general admin support
- Maintain awareness of activity across all marketing teams
- Assist with planning and execution for CMA events and TV shows
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years relevant marketing experience
- Experience in the entertainment or music industry preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Canva
- Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
- Ability to autonomously manage multiple simultaneous projects and tasks, re-prioritizing work as needed in order to stay on schedule to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail
- High level of integrity and discretion; able to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy
