Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Art Director to join our vibrant creative team. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a keen eye for design and a passion for developing breakthrough concepts. You will collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and other team members to produce compelling, inventive concepts with visuals across various media platforms.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concept Development: Generate original visual ideas and concepts for advertising campaigns that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Design Execution: Create compelling designs for digital, print, broadcast, and social media channels, ensuring high-quality visuals that resonate with target audiences.
  • Collaboration: Work synergistically with copywriters, designers, strategists, and project managers to develop insightful and innovative campaigns. Participate actively in brainstorming sessions to push creative boundaries.
  • Client Interaction: Present visual concepts and designs to internal teams and clients, effectively communicating the rationale behind creative decisions and incorporating feedback as needed.
  • Production Oversight: Coordinate with photographers, illustrators, and production teams to bring concepts to life, overseeing the execution of visual elements from inception to completion.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform and enhance creative work.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and constructive feedback to junior designers and interns to support their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of professional experience as an Art Director in an advertising agency or similar environment.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across different media and industries, highlighting conceptual thinking and design execution.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, After Effects, etc.) and Powerpoint
    • Proficient in AI concepting tools and content creation techniques.
    • Strong conceptual and design skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to translate strategic insights into compelling visual concepts.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $116,794.37 - $175,191.55

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.


Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
