The NFL Media Group is seeking a versatile Associate Producer who will play a big role in the production of audio and video for the Podcast Department. A successful candidate will be adept in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, and has technical experience of working in a video production control room. This position will also be involved with executing a variety of social content to support our various podcasts. Success in this role is reliant on being a self-starter, a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, and an understanding of and experience with creating podcast content.

Responsibilities


  • Assist in day-to-day production needs of various NFL Media podcasts
  • Ability to lead and assist the creation of a podcast episode from concept to execution
  • Fluent in entire Adobe Suite, and highly skilled in Audition and Premiere
  • Demonstrate knowledge and ability with live studio related production technologies, multi-platform workflows and equipment
  • Experience with vMix Live Video Streaming Software
  • Operating Audio Mixers, Yamaha QL5, System T S300 SSL, Micing Talent, Setting up IFBs
  • Controlling Robo Cameras, Panasonic AW-RP120
  • Technical Directing, Sony Switchers
  • Ensure episodes meet NFL Media’s high-quality standards editorially, audibly, and visually
  • Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices
  • Create attention-grabbing promotional content for various NFL content platforms
  • Identify ways to improve the production and promotion process
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, team-first, deadline-driven environment

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcast media or web production or related field
  • 4-10 years of experience in radio/podcast show and/or video post-production
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
  • Knowledge of sound board and microphones
  • Experience with vMix or other cloud-based production tools
  • Experience with video encoding platforms and tools
  • Interest in pop culture and sports entertainment
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Experience working in a newsroom environment and live studio control rooms

  • Thorough knowledge of the NFL Podcast Network, podcast industry, social media platforms
  • Knowledge of the National Football League, including its clubs, players and history
  • A motivated self-starter with a proven ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • There is potential for some travel

  • Carrying or pushing small equipment is possible

Terms /Expected Hours of Work


  • Part-Time, 29 hours or less/week
  • Flexible schedule is a must including weekends, holidays, and late nights

Salary / Pay Range

Salary


$30—$30.90 USD
