For the Paramount Pictures office in Paris we are recruiting a full-time: 

 

Sales Coordinator 

 

Is this the role for you?

 

Role Objectives:

Contribute to the launch of films by communicating with exhibitors to optimize their visibility in theaters and relay marketing operations in theaters. Monitor the scheduling of films in cinemas and negotiate distribution conditions.

 

What will you be doing?

 

Main responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in handling production (estimate requirements in terms of quantities of material) in liaison with the Product Managers, stock management, routing and delivery of all material destined for cinemas (Posters, Flat cards standees) or other promotional items destined for key events in the industry (DVD box sets - Exhibitors' Congress - Cannes - Exhibitors' Union Meeting).
  • Assist bookers and ensure accurate dispatch of DCP and KDM to enable our films to be shown in cinemas.
  • Assist The Sales Director for the overseas territories: monitoring of the numbers, materials, KDM renewal, send of the DCP.
  • B to B and B to C communication component
  • Support the Trade Marketing Manager in crafting, producing, and putting online support and communication tools for cinema exhibitors (newsletters, happiness surveys, advertising pages, etc.).
  • Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in B to B operations aimed at the student community
  • Monitor and analyze trailering and poster coverage of complexes, lead "audience reaction" surveys.
  • Negotiate film release conditions with theatrical bookers and independent exhibitors when national releases are set up, and at each weekly booking session.
  • Events component
  • Assist in coordinating events linked to film releases or industry news (Previews, B to B Tours and Provincial Tours for French films, Exhibitors' Congresses, Festivals).
  • Monitor the project's budget and logistics, coordinate each stage of implementation, and participate in the smooth organization of the event on D-day.
  • Monitoring component
  • Provide competitive intelligence and market analysis.
  • Assist the Box Office Manager with bi-weekly reporting and results collection.

 

What are we looking for?

 

Essential:

  • Experience at prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Committed, habitual cinemagoer with a curiosity about the film business and a keen interest in commercial film
  • Positive, helpful approach
  • PC literate, with intermediate Excel and Word skills and advanced Outlook and PowerPoint skills.
  • Organised and detailed, with the ability to co-ordinate, prioritise and handle time appropriately
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Fluent in French and good level of English 

 

Desirable:

  • SAP, IBOE or MAC'S experience
  • Film, Creative, Logistics or Exhibitor/Distributor experience
  • An understanding of the France Distribution & Exhibition landscape
