Job Summary:
The Marketing Analyst manages the technical execution of marketing campaigns across the Premium email and mobile channels. This role is responsible for email, push and SMS configuration, managing technical discussions with vendors and internal development team, and developing robust campaign and account architecture documentation as well as conducting research and performing data analytics on sales and buying trends, email marketing campaigns, and target marketing initiative and events.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee reporting system which analyzes and tracks sales, buying trends, engagement, open rates on the Arena and the Theater's databases, emails, websites, and mobile channels.
- Creation and execution of Premium email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics Marketing. Develop and deploy email campaigns and communications promoting events, traffic email requests from other AEG departments, implement list segmentation strategies necessary for targeted email campaigns.
- In-depth understanding of email analytics and audience management. Create tests that help optimize open rates, CTR, conversion, revenue and overall engagement of subscribers. Test subject lines, A/B testing and creative elements to upsell items and increase revenue and push specific products.
- Proactively review and support system enhancements and introduce new capabilities to meet emerging business needs. Conduct key research and perform analysis that leads to actionable recommendations for different functional areas of the business.
- Work across all departments (Premium Seating, Event Suites, L.A. LIVE) in order to create an effective email marketing plan / calendar which includes: collecting and processes requests as it pertains to deploying emails marketing campaigns; determine appropriate audience for target marketing initiatives.
- Oversee QA and end to end testing for email and frequently used templates. Create, maintain and manage all marketing recaps (project files) for the Arena and the Theater events.
- Manage and maintain ongoing Premium communications calendar across sales and service.
- Create segmented audiences based on insight and execute targeted email campaigns to develop Premium guest experience, brand engagement and ultimately increase Premium revenue.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree Preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of marketing experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); and ability to learn required business systems.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools. Dynamics Marketing preferred.
- Working knowledge of email marketing tools and software.
- Experience with data analytics software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to prioritize projects from multiple teams at high volume and on deadlines.
- Strong work ethic, results orientated with an ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions and inquiries from coworkers, clients, and customers in a timely manner.
- Willingness to work long, irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Events/Music industry experience preferred.
- Expertise in HTML and Photoshop preferred.
Pay Scale: $75,000 - $80,000
