JOB DESCRIPTION

The Client Service Team is part of the Revenue Management and Strategy organization within the Fox Corporation Advertising Sales division. This team will consist of Account Managers assigned to support ENT, News, and Direct Response on the Linear verticals. The Director of Client Services will lead and mentor a team of direct reports to ensure flawless execution of our commercial campaigns resulting in achieving maximum results and satisfaction in our client base. The Director of Client Services will be responsible for managing strategic objectives, processes and staff to drive revenue growth and achieve client KPIs while offering best-in-class service to our partners. A deep understanding of the Client Services role and collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams will be necessary to successfully steward deals throughout the campaign lifecycle.  Essential to the Director role is an ability to build and lead highly efficient and effective teams and develop strong relationships with internal and external partners. The Director will be accountable for driving client satisfaction and retention. The Account Management team provides proposal development, campaign stewardship and management for linear campaigns. The Director of Account Management will report to the Vice President of Client Services/Account Management. 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, onboarding and training the Account Managers

  • Run Account Management team to be best-in-class Client Services organization and grow all businesses under assignment with a focus on revenue retention and renewal.

  • Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of a team of account managers at varying experience levels to achieve excellence in campaign management and client relationships

  • Utilize reporting to analyze account assignments and workloads across the team

  • Support AM team in building strong media plans with advantageous yet competitive pricing

  • Represent interests of Client Services team to all intradepartmental teams including but not limited to Sales, Operations, Brand Partnerships, Yield, Technology, Analytics & Reporting and Finance.  Collaboration with these departments is essential to ensure proper deal execution throughout the lifecycle of the campaign. 

  • Collaborates with Yield team to manage at risk campaigns and solve for under-delivery issues. 

  • Join forces with Finance so deals are properly booked, coded and managed for flawless billing process to ensure timely payment of invoices

  • Attend weekly Sales leadership, AE, and marketing meetings; contribute with relevant updates representing the AM team

  • Foster a positive culture to encourage engagement, motivation, and team morale and growth

  • Facilitate weekly team meetings to review prior week successes and current and future week priorities.  Share information from other departments to guide team in successful campaign management.

  • Coaching and mentoring AM team through professional development initiatives to promote continuous learning and growth within the team and company

  • Meet and collaborate with other Directors within the Client Services team in the refinement and management of all account management group processes and inter-company coordination

  • Create and maintain training materials and documentation to ensure team performance is uniform and consistent.  This includes partnering with other internal departments to maintain accurate and up-to-date processes

  • Partner with VP of Client Services to establish team goals and initiatives throughout the year

  • Facilitate evaluation process

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 10+ years of traditional Advertising Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in account management like role, with at least 5 years of responsibility for directly managing staff

  • Demonstrable success in managing teams to provide stellar client service and campaign management while creating a positive work environment

  • Experience creating proposals and proposal materials as well as demonstrated success in selling those

  • Evidence of ability to create process, training and professional development materials

  • Demonstrates competent, highly successful and inspiring leadership style

NICE TO HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, Marketing, Business or commensurate experience

  • Familiarity with Digital Advertising

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $140,000.00-160,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
