Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with various events, programs and initiatives related to the Community Relations department, including but not limited to NFL initiatives, youth and high school football and Legends outreach
  • Aid with the support of the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and Freddie Falcon programs and initiatives
  • Coordinate and execute season long youth and high school football activations, including High School Man of the Year, Trailblazer and Coach of the Week
  • Assist with all internal and external Legend appearance requests, including leading and organizing the payment process for all appearances
  • Manage internal and external mascot/cheer appearance request forms, calendars and confirmations
  • Assist with planning and executing youth football, high school boys tackle and girls flag football events
  • Assist with the communication and execution of the Atlanta Falcons Junior Cheer Program
  • Oversee and manage all department databases including CR volunteers, youth and high school football and the Legends community
  • Increase engagement, visibility and opportunities for the Falcons Legends Community through creative communication tools and platforms
  • Attend and assist with various internal and external events where Atlanta Falcons talent is requested
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of Community Relations game day operations
  • Lead the management of @FalconsCR, @ATLCheerleaders and @Freddie.Falcon Instagram and X accounts, keeping accounts constantly updated through engagement and content
  • Assist with processing, fulfilling and shipping donations using DonationXchange
  • Manage Community Relations inventory including appearance attire, equipment, donations, giveaways and promotional items
  • Assist with scribing, compiling and reporting out various department meeting notes
  • Assist with events and special group visits during Atlanta Falcons Training Camp
  • Respond to and fulfill all Community Relations mail inquiries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of department areas within the team’s facilities
  • Update and maintain various Community Relations staff meeting materials on a weekly basis
  • Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in planning and executing event operations and social media preferred
  • At least one year experience working in the sports industry preferred
Skills and Basic Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva
