We are seeking a Marketing Manager who will join our team to support various development and publishing efforts and marketing campaigns across multiple game titles. Reporting to Department 5’s Director of Publishing, you will develop and execute strategic plans for the marketing function, including goal setting and resource allocation. You will plan comprehensive go-to-market strategies and tactics that align with business objectives and resonate with our players.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set strategic plans for the marketing function, including goal definition, resource allocation, budgeting, and prioritization.
Plan and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies that align with business goals and resonate with target audiences.
Oversee the execution of marketing tactics, ensuring adequate staffing, budget adherence, and timely vendor deliverables.
Manage advertising purchases, social media boosting, and paid media campaigns to expand the player base and increase revenue.
Analyze media channel performance, providing actionable recommendations to optimize budget distribution for the best Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
Work with PR teams and agencies to develop and distribute press releases for major announcements, enhancing brand visibility.
Oversee the development and updates of game and studio websites, ensuring alignment with marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with designers on the localization and curation of creatives, analyze performance, and suggest optimizations.
Produce regular media analytics reports, providing insights to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
Build growth forecasts in partnership with the publishing and finance teams, refining scenarios based on company revenue projections.
Stay informed about industry trends and innovative marketing developments to continuously enhance marketing efforts.
Design and construct statistical models to forecast and review outreach and engagements metrics for marketing activations, providing strategic learnings for future activations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of marketing experience preferably in gaming or entertainment
Familiarity with game development and publishing processes
Deep knowledge of the video game and esports industry
Sharp attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in an everchanging environment and collaborate across diverse teams
Ability to create, organize, prioritize, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Evident skills in negotiation and conflict resolution
Experience in forecasting project financials and workforce planning
Availability to work on call and on weekends during game launches or event periods
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods of time
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools (Wrike)

In California, the expected salary range for this position is $110,000-$135,000. The listed expected salary range represents a good faith estimate and the actual pay may depend on a variety of job-related factors that can include experience, education, skills, and location.
