How you will contribute to our magical experience?

The Manager, Ad Sales will be responsible for acting as the main point of contact between Disney and advertising agencies, managing business relationships and communications. This role will influence advertiser demand through the strategic promotion of our product portfolio and by engaging with key stakeholders within agencies. The position will interface with sales heads under an industry-vertical client servicing model and also will support the local markets team to ensure the achievement of both quantitative goals and Disney's broader strategic objectives.

The Manager, Ad Sales ations will be responsible for:

  • Managing advertising agency relationships while representing Disney’s commercial area, driving sales, educating, and promoting its portfolio of advertising products and services, media, streaming, brand integration, and events through roadshows and strategic meetings with key decision-makers in media, planning, account, and creative teams, strengthening Disney’s positioning and relevance in the advertising market.
  • Providing commercial support to the Head of Regional Markets and sales representative teams: ensuring compliance with Disney’s commercial policies, sharing studies, proposals, and new projects, and participating in strategic meetings with local clients and agencies, with availability to travel when required.
  • Acting as the internal liaison with industry heads and executives regarding business opportunities identified through interactions with agencies, clients, and market representatives. Sharing insights and feeding back commercial information to the Disney sales team with the goal of increasing revenue and unlocking new business opportunities.
  • Managing agency relationships and incentive plans to boost revenue across Disney platforms, always aligned with best market practices. Overseeing the internal process from negotiation to contract execution and conducting quarterly revenue reviews with agencies.
  • Possessing deep knowledge of the agency market and its key stakeholders to navigate across different departments and seek out new business opportunities. Mapping out service excellence opportunities with agencies, anticipating market trends, benchmarking competitors, and promoting relationship and innovation initiatives to strengthen Disney’s presence and representation in the advertising market.
  • Monitoring revenue generated by agencies and developing action plans to increase their investments across Disney platforms.
  • Regularly updating and maintaining a comprehensive agency mailing list. Tracking key movements within the client and agency markets.
  • Using Disney’s storytelling to craft compelling sales arguments and presentations. Developing creative solutions that result in effective and innovative communication around our advertising offerings. Demonstrating autonomy and expertise to build and deliver presentations to agencies, with a hands-on profile and solid knowledge of tools such as PowerPoint and Excel.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with agencies, clients, and internal teams. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage strategic interactions.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising sales, preferably within media companies, advertising agencies, or entertainment-related industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Availability for travel and participation in roadshows, meetings, and events with agencies and clients in SP and other brazilian cities.
  • The capability to create and deliver clear, persuasive presentations.
  • Intermediate level of English (required) and intermediate level of Spanish (plus).
