The Sales & Marketing Strategy Intern will be part of the Latin America Consumer & Sales Distribution Marketing Team. We are responsible for the evolution, deployment, and optimization of the travel trade channels that drive the Latin America business for Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Cruise Line and Disneyland Resort.

The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025

What You Will Do

Make an impact by collaborating with internal teams and clients to manage a variety of marketing, sales and training projects striven to increase relevance, drive intent to visit Disney Destinations and accelerate conversion to grow the business, including:

  • Lead Disneytravelagents.com (DTA.com) project management: ensure timely roll-out and build communication plan (i.e. PR release, social post, newsletter, client engagement)

  • Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, training or trade shows. Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up.

  • Interpret internal and external relevant data to understand trends across the Latin America market

  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to build engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, such as blog posts, social media updates, and campaigns. Ensure content aligns with the company's brand and messaging.

  • Marketing Analytics and Reporting: collect data from various marketing initiatives and prepare reports to evaluate the efficiency of campaigns. Use analytics tools to measure website traffic, conversion rates/CTA, and other key performance indicators.

  • Support on Marketing approvals: Evaluate creatives (online and offline) and provide mentorship to the Spanish-speaking clients.

Required Qualifications & Skills

What you bring to this role…

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Native Portuguese or Spanish, including strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in project management, marketing communications and business analysis

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook

  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Proven working ability in a lively, culturally diverse team environment and be able to multi-task different projects for different managers

  • Ability to handle information in a confidential manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Latin America culture and consumer behaviors

  • MBA or equivalent experience in Marketing or Communications

  • Proficiency in Spanish

Education

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Senior or a recent graduate pursuing a degree in travel/hospitality management, marketing/sales, international business/business or a related major

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025

  • Able to work full time hours (approximately 40 per week) and have a consistent, reliable work schedule for the duration of the internship
