Business Strategist & Growth Partner – Madhouse Films

Madhouse Films, a Brooklyn-based, female-founded production company, is seeking a Business Strategist & Growth Partner to help take our company to the next level. 

Madhouse recently signed on to Executive Produce Meredith Alloway's debut feature, Forbidden Fruits, starring Lili Reinhart, Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp, Lola Tung, and Emma Chamberlain. 

The company has also produced a series of short films starring actors such as Lena Headey, Marc Menchaca, Jamie Clayton, and BooBoo Stewart, Rachel Hilson, as well as branded content projects that will be produced in the upcoming year. 

We are passionate filmmakers dedicated to telling bold, underrepresented stories, and have experienced exponential growth in a short period of time. We need a strategic partner to help us build a financially sustainable business model and scale our operations.

Who We’re Looking For:

We need someone who:

• Is entrepreneurial minded and has experience in growing early stage businesses and/or startup culture, financial strategy, and media company growth.
• Takes initiative and is self motivated, proactive, creative, diligent and adaptable.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is excited to build processes from the ground up rather than rely on existing structures. 
• Has a strong understanding of the unique challenges of the film industry and independent production companies, including financing, acquisitions and distribution, and revenue growth.
• Can help identify revenue streams and growth opportunities for the company such as a branded content division, securing funding, and returns on film investments.
• Aligns with our mission—someone who is passionate about championing underrepresented voices and contributing to an inclusive, dynamic creative space.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement a sustainable financial model for the company.

• Identify new revenue streams and funding opportunities (investors, grants, partnerships, etc.).

• Help shape a growth strategy that aligns with our creative vision.

• Assist in structuring deals and business partnerships to maximize profitability.

• Provide financial oversight, budgeting guidance, and investment strategy.

• Act as a strategic advisor, filling in the gaps where we lack business expertise.

Compensation & Opportunity:

• This is an Equity/ Profit-Sharing opportunity. We are looking for a partner in the business and offering an honorarium as initial compensation.
