The annual base salary for this position ranges from $97,200.00 in our lowest geographic market to $217,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Brand Marketing Soccer Lead to join our Nike NYC Brand Management team. This role will focus on driving the marketplace amplification, strategy & execution of Global Soccer priority concepts in New York. The NYC Brand Marketing Soccer lead will be responsible for creating and managing our seasonal brand plans and always-on priorities, while collaborating closely with North America and Global functional and city partners.

The ideal candidate is forward-thinking and curious, can innovate with autonomy, is attune to our ever-evolving consumer trends, and has deep knowledge of the soccer landscape in NYC and beyond. This individual will also have a proven track record of leading with a clear vision and strategic attitude, thrive in a collaborative environment, be able to lead multiple projects, and be able to build strong working relationships across a matrixed organization.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a Brand Marketing Lead for Soccer in NYC, you are responsible for bringing our seasonal brand plans to life - work that will drive brand strength, fuel consumer demand, and strengthen our daily connection with members. Leading with insights, you will obsess how to make our brand, product, and services resonate with our Soccer consumer, while driving a networked offense across Global, Geo and City Teams.

As the NYC Brand Marketing Soccer Brand Lead, you will:

  • Support and drive the development of seasonal integrated marketing plans
  • Manage and foster collaboration throughout the Consumer Code process to engage with our key cross-functional partners
  • Supporting an end-to-end process, with strong organizational skills
  • Compiling and unpacking insights from consumers
  • Manage on-the-ground relationships in the city with key consumer, community and grassroots soccer organizations.
  • Partnering with key cross-functional team members to define, adapt, extend, and execute key experiences for consumers and members
  • Overseeing product integration into seasonal programming
  • Managing asset development and distribution across multiple channels to ensure purposeful and choreographed storytelling
  • Pioneering new ways of unlocking an always-on grassroots soccer proposition to complement seasonal priorities
  • Working back with finance to track expense against budgets

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • Extensive knowledge of the Soccer landscape, culture and relationships across New York City
  • Demonstrated genuine passion and deep understanding of the Soccer consumer, trainers, trends, modalities, product, sources of influence in NYC
  • Excellent internal relationship-building skills with ability to influence working teams and key partners, gaining sponsorship and buy-in from many levels
  • Excellent external relationship-building and management skills with ability to forge strong partnerships that extend the impact the brand has on the consumer and local communities
  • 5+ years’ experience in consumer marketing or related experience in retail marketing and/or digital brand marketing
  • Strong written, visual, and verbal/presentation skills
  • Experience working within teams and a team-first mentality
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile culture—someone who embraces and leads through change and ambiguity
  • Digital marketing acumen and creator-led content experience
  • Ability to balance creativity with organization and subject area in fast moving, ambiguous environment
  • Fluency reading consumer data and crafting measurement and optimization plans
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
  • Detail oriented. This position requires someone who can build plans, presentations, and keep the team moving cohesively in the right direction
