Video Editor

Come join our family at In-N-Out Burger! We have an excellent opportunity for a full time Video Editor in our Baldwin Park, CA office. This role will be based in Baldwin Park at the Burger Television (BTV) Studio, but will also do some location work filming.

General Responsibilities

• Handle video editing tasks for Burger Television (BTV) and In-N-Out Burger Production requests
• Strong experience with video and audio editing
• Will work with audio software and motion GFX applications
• Requires a deep knowledge of media management software
• Edit video footage; Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects; Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Upload all existing archive footage and materials, as well as all future footage being obtained
• Solid working knowledge of IT related issues is mandatory
• Assist the Production team with editing videos for BTV

Work Schedule + Benefits

• Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
• Pay Range is $31.00 to $35.82 per hour
• The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
• Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• BTV production studio is based in Baldwin Park, CA
• Travel time: 15% of the work time will be spent in the field filming

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography or related field preferred but not required; or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of three (3) years experience as a video editor
• Extensive knowledge of all video editing software applications and techniques is required
• Strong experience with audio software and motion GFX applications
• Demonstrated video editing ability with a portfolio
• Audio Visual experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communication with all levels of management
• Strong time management and interpersonal skills
• Proven history of providing outstanding customer service while proactively troubleshooting/problem solving
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while remaining organized, efficient and flexible
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Ability to work autonomously/independently yet be an integral part of an overall team environment
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office software, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Visio a plus.
