Danny Wimmer Presents is seeking a highly motivated Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships to drive revenue growth and build meaningful corporate partnerships across our national event portfolio. This role is responsible for developing, packaging, and selling fully integrated marketing programs that deliver measurable results for our partners. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong sales acumen, capable of securing high-value deals and forging long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain high-value corporate partnerships that align with the company’s event portfolio and brand objectives.

  • Develop and sell innovative, integrated marketing solutions that maximize value for partners and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with potential clients through research, outreach, and industry networking.
  • Identify and create sponsorship assets that enhance partner value and align with company initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging market opportunities to identify new revenue streams.
  • Develop and maintain accurate reporting documents, track revenue pipeline, and present sales progress to senior leadership.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and promotional activities to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful partnership activations and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
  • Minimum 15% travel required for business development, client meetings, and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

  • Love for the music festival scene, preferably the rock, metal and alternative genres.
  • 6-10 years of professional sponsorship sales experience, preferably in live events, entertainment or sport.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute dynamic sales platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with CRM software (Salesforce, etc.) and industry research tools (Scarborough, SponsorUnited, YouGov) is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

This position is based in Los Angeles, CA or hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

The estimated salary range for this position starts at $100k plus compensation and includes medical/dental/vision/401k benefits. Base pay depends on experience. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DWP's total compensation package for employees.
