The Opportunity:

The Senior Project Manager is a proactive leader who partners with the business and technology to translate the customer and business needs into actions plans to be executed by the Agile teams. A credible and impactful communicator, he/she operates with a “no surprise” approach and ensures open and honest communication in all aspects of their work. The primary focus of the work will be the management of software development, system integrations and technology initiatives.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Lead teams to successfully deliver solutions with the highest client business value and alignment with business objectives
  • Apply your project management expertise to maintain a clear overview of timelines and progress, with the ability to provide timely and accurate updates on project health to a cross-functional audience.
  • Able to effectively and collaboratively identify and synchronize project dependencies across multiple teams and navigate risks and change along the way.
  • Perform unbiased risk management by determining root causes, corrective actions, mitigation options and impacts, ultimately providing clear executive level summaries.
  • Resolve and escalate impediments, remove roadblocks and ensure value delivery.
  • Work closely with management to ensure resource allocation aligns with project needs
  • Foster a positive team environment, driving standards, consistency, and driving program-level continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate discussions with Technology & Product Management to ensure product and technology roadmaps are aligned, priorities are defined and in the system of record.
  • Organize and facilitate program retrospectives and track action items to resolution
  • Model and coach high performing team leadership behaviors

What You Will Bring:

  • 7+ years of technology project management experience required
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions to market with Agile and SAFe frameworks
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, and experience with Agile and SAFe are required
  • Expert communication skills with ability to distill and relay key information to executives including Agile metrics
  • Flexible, collaborative, and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously to maintain teamwork and optimal project flow
  • Strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficient with collaboration tools such as ADO, Jira, Teams, Aha!,
  • PMI-ACP, CSM,  or equivalent strongly preferred
  • PMP preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
