Production Assistant

TV PRODUCTION, Entravision Hartford, is seeking a bilingual team player and multi-tasker to join our team. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to, the production of commercials, station promotions, PSAs, and occasional specials programs, broadcast production and other duties as assigned by the SVP and Production Manager. Qualified candidate must be proficient with broadcast quality video cameras, video/audio, and graphics editing software packages.

Job Requirements/Qualifications: 

• Previous production experience required and must be able to lift and handle equipment.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• Working knowledge of and experience with HD broadcast quality cameras.
• Non-linear editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of and experience with a variety of Adobe software packages: Photoshop, After Effects, Encore and other video and audio graphics edit software packages.
• Ability to use sound judgment in the lineup of production presentations, including original and creative ideas.
• Must express ideas clearly both in written and oral communications.
• Ability to plan, organize, and work with production manager, talent and clients on video shoots, local programming and artist interviews.
• Fluent bilingual, Spanish/English required.
• Translation abilities, both English/Spanish and Spanish/English essential.
• Voice over skills a plus.
• Web editing skills a plus.
• Community event liaison, occasional evenings and weekends
